New in Recital: Faster Search & Smarter Clause Filtering

We’re kicking off 2025 with updates that make searching your contracts and working with clauses even more efficient. Here’s what’s new in Recital this month.

Search Just Got Faster

We’ve made major backend improvements to search performance, making it significantly faster. While search still functions the same, letting you find contracts, emails, and files across all connected storage, the speed boost ensures smoother, quicker access to the information you need.

More details on how to use search in Recital.

Filter Similar Clause Search to Show Saved Clauses

When using the Recital Word add-in to search for similar clauses, you can now filter results to display only the clauses you’ve previously saved to your library. When this filter is set to "Saved Clauses," you’ll see:

  • Clauses you’ve saved in past searches

  • Clauses you’ve manually imported to your clause library

This update is especially useful when referencing a curated set of clauses, significantly reducing search noise and making it easier to find exactly what you need.

Shared Clauses Pilot Launch

While not an official update yet, we recently launched a pilot for shared clauses, a feature that allows teams to save and share clauses within their organization. Stay tuned for more details soon!

We have some exciting things in store for the coming months!
