New in Recital: Shared Clause Library, Improved Word Add-In & More

February brought some exciting updates to Recital, including a shared clause library to improve collaboration and support for better review in the Word add-in.

Plus, we've made AI Change Summary more reliable and introduced several usability improvements.

Share Saved Clauses Across Your Team

You can now share saved clauses with your entire team, making it easier to find and reuse preferred contract language. No more hunting for the right wording, your team's go-to clauses are just a few clicks away.

This feature is available to all Recital users. To activate it, contact our support team.

Improved Redlining Experience in Word Add-In

Thanks to user feedback, we've improved the similar clause search experience in the Word add-in. You can now select clauses deleted by the other party to use in a similar clause search. This means you can quickly find alternative language for clauses that have been removed.

An Upgrade for AI Change Summary

We've fine-tuned AI Change Summary to make it even more reliable. This feature helps you quickly understand key differences between versions, ensuring you catch critical edits and can assess risk at a glance.

Usability & Performance Improvements

  • Starred records now appear in order of when you starred them, with the most recent at the top.

  • List of records loads much faster.

  • Comparison now notifies you if there are comments in a document that cannot be displayed (e.g., from resolved threads or deleted sections). Previously, this showed as a warning.

  • Bug fixes and UI touch-ups for enhanced stability and usability.
