Introducing Recital Connect

Bring your local and network drive contracts into Recital automatically.

For years, Recital has helped legal teams bring order to contracts scattered across cloud storage and email.

Today, we’re expanding that vision.

We’re excited to introduce Recital Connect, a lightweight desktop application that automatically syncs contracts from your local computer or mounted network drives into Recital.

For the first time, Recital can unify contracts stored on shared drives, local folders, cloud storage, and email — all in one place.

Because let’s be honest: not every contract lives in the cloud.

For legal teams with shared drives, legacy file servers, or hybrid storage environments, this is a meaningful shift.

What Recital Connect Does

Recital Connect runs quietly in the background on your Mac or Windows machine.

After a quick setup, it automatically:

  • Detects new or updated contracts

  • Uploads them to Recital

  • Extracts key contract data

  • Makes them searchable and reportable alongside your other connected sources

It works exactly like our existing cloud and email connectors, just extended to the places that have traditionally been inaccessible.

And yes, you can use it in addition to our existing connectors, syncing all sources into a single, unified contract dataset.

All searchable. All organized. All in Recital.

Built for How Legal Teams Actually Work

Many contract tools assume your documents are already neatly stored in a single system.

In reality, contracts are drafted locally, saved temporarily in downloads folders, finalized in shared drives, and emailed back and forth before being archived.

That fragmentation creates blind spots.

Recital Connect removes those blind spots without forcing change.

No forced migrations.

No new storage system required.

No workflow disruption.

Just automatic visibility across every contract source you rely on.
